Bidfood Oman proudly hosted the first-ever Bridor Baking Workshop in Salalah, marking a significant milestone in extending premium French bakery culture to the Dhofar region. Held at Sakalan Restaurant, Al Baleed Resort by Anantara, the event brought together chefs, hoteliers, F&B managers, and culinary professionals for a dynamic afternoon of learning, tasting, and hands-on interaction.
Led by Chef Nicolas Postolle, Corporate Chef for Bridor Middle East, and supported by Claudia, Area Manager for the GCC, the workshop showcased the craftsmanship and creativity behind Bridor’s renowned bakery range. One of the key highlights was the introduction of the innovative ARTY Viennese pastries, a modern twist on classic French viennoiserie that captured the interest of the attending chefs.
Guests experienced live baking demonstrations, product insights, and an in-depth look at Bridor’s commitment to quality, consistency, and efficiency—especially its ready-to-bake solutions that require only defrosting and baking. The session also provided an opportunity for chefs to engage directly with the Bridor team, participate in Q&A discussions, and explore new menu possibilities tailored for the Salalah market.
The workshop reflected Bidfood Oman’s ongoing mission to bring global food innovations closer to the industry and support culinary teams with training, product knowledge, and elevated solutions.
